Petrol And Diesel Prices Hiked For The Second Time This Month Already

Just days after fuel prices were revised in India, prices of petrol and diesel have been increased already. This is the second time this month fuel prices have been revised.

After the latest revision, petrol prices have gone up by 14 paise per litre and diesel by 10 paise per litre. After the increase, petrol will now cost Rs 64.72 per litre and diesel will cost Rs 52.61 in the national capital, Delhi.

The reason fuel prices have been increased after just four days is due to increase in commission paid to dealers.

In a statement, Indian Oil Corporation said, "There will be corresponding price revisions on petrol and diesel in other states on account of change in dealer commission."
