German automotive giant Mercedes-Benz will unveil a brand new electric SUV concept in October at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
According to Autocar UK, Mercedes describe the new SUV as a first step into a broad electric vehicle strategy which will see the automotive giant release four electric vehicles by 2020.
The new concept which is currently being constructed is said to provide "a clear insight" into the external appearance, interior appointments, technical layout and overall dimensions of the production model.
A Mercedes-Benz official spoke to Autocar UK about the new SUV's looks stating, "We've created a whole new look that takes into consideration the unique properties of electric vehicles."
The new SUV will be the first truly dedicated electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz when it hits the roads in around 2019 and is expected to share a few links with the Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV which launched in India on June 2.
