Maruti Vitara Brezza Records Over 70,000 Bookings; 9 Months Waiting Period
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was launched in India during the Auto Expo that took place in February 2016. Since its launch, the Brezza has created quite a stir in the compact SUV market and has recorded over 70,000 bookings.
Now, the bookings may sound good for Maruti Suzuki, but for customers looking to buy one, there is a bit of bad news as well since the waiting period has gone up to 9 months. The top end variants of the Brezza, the ZDi (O) and the ZDi+ models will take upto 9 months to arrive once ordered, while the other variants could take upto 6 months.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is available with a diesel engine only, which is a 1.3-litre diesel engine that produces 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and Maruti does not offer an optional automatic gearbox.
