Utility Vehicles Now Have A New Best Seller In India And It's Not The Creta
The Mahindra Bolero was the best selling Utility Vehicle (UV) in India for a very long time until the Hyundai Creta stole the top spot. Now, the Maruti Vitara Brezza has stolen the show to become the best selling UV in India.
For the month of July 2016, Maruti Suzuki sold 10,232 units of the Brezza in India, while the popular Hyundai Creta sold 7,981 units in the Indian market. The Vitara Brezza has also helped Maruti Suzuki post a growth of 151.3 percent for its UV range.
Maruti Suzuki's Utility Vehicle range includes the Vitara Brezza, S-Cross, Ertiga, and the very famous Gypsy in the Indian market.
In spite of posting good sales numbers, Maruti is facing back logs for the Brezza. The company has taken measures to increase the production capacity of the Brezza nd the Baleno hatchback.
