Honda India Announces Price Hike Up To Rs 10,000 Across Range
Honda India has hiked the price of their models sold across the country in 2016. The models will witness a price of up to Rs. 10,000 based on the model. The minimum hike announced by Honda Car India is Rs. 2,000.
The Brio hatchback witnesses a price hike of Rs. 2,000. Honda's entry-level model will now start at Rs. 4.28 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The City sedan also witnesses a price hike of Rs. 3,000 across variants. Starting price of Honda City in 2016 is Rs. 7.64 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Honda Mobilio MPV witnesses a hike of Rs. 3,000, which now comes with a starting price of Rs. 6.82 ex-showroom (Delhi). The new Jazz premium hatchback will cost more by Rs. 4,800. The starting price of the new Jazz is now Rs. 5.45 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Honda sells only a single SUV model in the Indian market, in the form of their CR-V premium SUV. The maximum price hike in 2016 by Honda is borne by the CR-V model of Rs. 10,000, which will now cost Rs. 21.24 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi) for base variant.
At the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo, Honda is expected to showcase several new offerings. The BR-V compact SUV, new Accord, along with several other models are likely to be launched in India during 2016 itself. Stay tuned for updates from Honda Cars India leading up to the Auto Expo.
