Datsun Redi-Go India Launch Date Confirmed For June 1, 2016
Datsun recently unveiled the production spec Redi-Go hatchback globally, and has now confirmed the Indian launch date as June 1, 2016. Datsun already started taking orders for the Redi-Go.
The Datsun Redi-Go basically is built on the same platform as the Renault Kwid and will also feature the same 800cc engine, but in a slightly different state of tuning. Nissan's 217 dealerships spread across India will take care of the sales of the Redi-Go.

Datsun and Nissan will also ramp up production facility for the Redi-Go, which could create a huge demand, like the Renault Kwid. Once launched, the Redi-Go will compete with the Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and the Kwid.
Speaking about the pricing, Datsun could price the Redi-Go hatchback from Rs. 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom) onward in India, making it a very affordable car in the segment.
