Mercedes-Benz To Increase Pricing In India From January 2016
From January 1, 2016, onwards the ex-showroom pricing of Mercedes-Benz models will witness a hike. The entire portfolio offered in India will be affected by a price increase of up to two percent. A complete breakdown of model pricing has not been provided and will be confirmed on January 2016.
Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed a rise in input cost as a major reason for price hike. During 2015, Mercedes-Benz India has launched several new and interesting products to be precise they introduced 15 new models. Currently, Mercedes-Benz competes with Audi, BMW, and Jaguar Land Rover in India.
Though Mercedes-Benz will be increasing the price of its model across India. Various finance options will be provided so that customers can continue purchasing models without any hassles. On offer will be STAR Finance, STAR Agility, STAR Lease, and even Corporate STAR Lease.
Previously, BMW announced that they too would be increasing prices through their India range from January 1, 2016. Now Mercedes-Benz India will also be increasing prices of their luxury products to maintain profitability in the country.
Mercedes-Benz will be launching its fifteenth product in India on December 8, 2015. The new and luxurious version of A Class will be introduced. A Class hatchback is the most humble offering from Mercedes-Benz and allows younger buyers to experience a premium hatchback.
