Mahindra registers a sharp increase in sales during the celebration of Dhanteras 2015. They have witnessed an increase of 70 percent over 2014 Dhanteras sales. Mahindra delivered and received several bookings on November 9, 2015, when Dhanteras was celebrated.
Contributing heavily to the increase in sales of Mahindra products in India are: the TUV3OO, XUV5OO, Scorpio, and the Bolero. All in all, Mahindra managed to deliver approximately 11,500 utility vehicles during 2015 Dhanteras.
The TUV3OO also registered 12,000 bookings across the country, since its launch in September. Mahindra explains that over 50 percent of TUV3OO bookings in the country are for the AMT option. Production of the compact SUV has been increased to 5,000 units per month to cope up with rising demands.
Surprisingly, none of their products were offered with discounts or benefits. Their selling point was aggressively priced Utility Vehicles that are made in India. Also, the update to the product portfolio has boosted sales for Mahindra during the festive season.
