Ford India To Provide EcoSport With Updates Ahead Of Festive Season
Ford EcoSport will be receiving a mild update prior to the upcoming festive season. Here is a teaser image of the upcoming compact SUV that will be launched during October 2015.
The image does not reveal a whole lot of details, however, it is evident that new EcoSport will adorn LED Daytime Running Lights. The front fascia will be maintained as it is just a mild facelift.
EcoSport will surely receive several other small changes and we are expecting new colour options. Ford is also likely to remove their rear mounted spare wheel, providing a more urban vehicle appeal to it.
Interior will also be spruced up for a more premium and upmarket feel. Previously too Ford EcoSport had well-crafted interiors and it is only going to get better from now onwards.
Mechanically the American automobile manufacturer would not be making any major changes to their EcoSport facelift. There could be a possibility of Ford India tuning the engine, to improve fuel efficiency figures.
Previously Ford India was offering the LED Daytime Running Lights as an official accessory. For the festive season, EcoSport will get a mild facelift and this will be standard fitment across their compact SUV.
We are sure that Ford India would increase the pricing of their EcoSport range. It is currently unclear as to how much, however, we are expecting an increase in model prices by INR 30,000.
Recently Ford launched two interesting products in the Indian market that are expected to catapult them to success. The Figo Aspire and new Figo hatchback have been well received by Indian customers.
