Bosch To Suspend Production In Bangalore For Two Days
Bosch, the global auto parts manufacturer has announced that it will shut down its production in its Bangalore plants for two days, December 30 and 31, 2015. The German company is doing so to adjust to market requirements.
In a regulatory filing, Bosch said, "With a view to adjust production to meet the demand for products and to avoid unnecessary buildup of inventory, it is proposed to suspend all manufacturing operations at the company's Bangalore and Bidadi plants on December 30 and December 31."
Bosch had already announced plans to suspend production at its Jaipur plant for eight days (Dec 26 onward), for the same reason. The company added, saying that there will be no financial impact on account due to suspension in operation.
