Volkswagen Polo Facelift Could Launch In July
The German manufacturer Volkswagen will introducing a new and refreshed version of the Polo hatchback in India. The facelifted version of the Polo is expected to launch by July, 2014. The hatchback has been caught testing recently in India and its launch is imminent.
The 2014 version of Polo hatchback will get redesigned bumpers and foglamps. A chrome embellishment will divide the the front bumper and is a new design element. The VW badge will sit in between a single slat grille design.
Headlights in the new Volkswagen Polo look darker and have a new reflective surface. The exterior paint job will be offered in new options. The rear bumper has been redesigned to give it a sporty look.

The German manufacturer will provide the 2014 Polo with a new diesel mill. Volkswagen will offer the refreshed model with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder TDI engine, it will produce 80 horsepower. The same engine will be tweaked and tuned to produce 104 horsepower and will sport a GT TDI badge.
Volkswagen will offer two variations of the petrol engine: a 3-cylinder and a 4-cylinder 1.2-litre TSI engine. The German engineers will not modify the engine and will provide it as it is currently sold.
The German manufacturer will provide an improved interior experience in the Polo facelift. The instrument cluster will get sportier lettering. Centre console on the dashboard will have an aluminium-like finish. The interior will be plush and more luxurious than the outgoing model. We believe the steering wheel will be resculpted and will sport a three spoke design with a flat bottom.
The Volkswagen will compete against the likes of Suzuki Swift, Fiat Punto, Hyundai i20 and Honda's Jazz. The German manufacturer has not confirmed the pricing of the vehicle as yet.
