Toyota Gives Highest Pay Rise Till Date; Japan
In times of economic slowdown all over the world Toyota Motors has confirmed it will be increasing its Japanese employees pay, it is supposed to be the greatest increment in over 21 years.
The employees will receive their benefits starting from April 2014. Toyota believes whatever profit it has made till date some of it should be shared with its loyal employees.

The Japanese car manufacturer will be increasing workers pay by 0.8% of their current salary or by 2700 Yen. This increment has come after 6 years of the previous one, however, it still falls short of Union demands. The union had demanded an increase of 4000 Yen, which wasn't adhered to.
These increments have come due to the pressure from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Most of the Japanese Manufacturers have announced increase in pays, since wednesday itself.
This increment was ushered to increase daily spending, which is believed to help them come out of deflation. It is important for Japan as they are the third largest economy in this world.
Toyota is best selling car manufacturer and experts believe they will record profits by March 31st of this year.
The Japanese car manufacturer will be increasing its pay to a great extent, since 1993. The annual average bonus package will constitute of 2.44 million Yen. Which is an increase of 7.6% from last year.
This is a great step taken by Toyota, however, we will have to wait and see if it decreases their deflation by any means. If this method works, it should be applied in most countries and would benefit everyone on the whole.
