KTM RC 390 Launch By Mid Year
KTM has been spotted testing their RC 390 in Pune of late. This could only mean one thing, the bike is ready to be launched and minor corrections if any will be done.
It was earlier expected that KTM would launch the bikes at Auto Expo 2014 however, this wasn't the case. The Austrian manufacturer refrained showing it's RC range in India. Thus, maintaining focus on Bajaj's offering.
Expect the bikes from KTM to start visiting showrooms by mid 2014. The Austrian company may launch their bike earlier and may deliver the RC 390, by mid year 2014. In any case KTM lover's will be waiting eagerly to test the bike, while some will own it for sheer pleasure.
The KTM RC 390 is a full faired version of 390 Duke. However, differences will be in the form of a revised chassis for rigidity and handling. The ECU too will be altered for a sporty response. Expect this to be a proper track day bike from the word Go!
The bike has been designed similar to that used in their race programs. Giving the RC 390 a sporty look. The bike will feature led lights for parking purposes. The high pillion seat, may not offer best seating or comfort to pillions, which means you need to enjoy the bike ride alone.
The price hasn't been confirmed however, it is hinted it will cost a tad over the naked version. Making it a great buying proposition from KTM.
Since there is a delay from all it's competitors KTM shouldn't wait long and launch their bike before Honda and Yamaha as their offerings too will be lucrative.
Let us know in the comments below what you think about the RC 390 from KTM.
