Tata Nano Automatic To Launch Soon

Tata Motors revealed its plan to launch an AMT version in its most affordable car till date the Nano. The Automated Manual Transmission will be offered in the Twist variant of Nano. The Indian manufacturer has been testing the vehicle rigorously prior to its launch.

There have been several instances when the Tata Nano AMT has been caught testing. Tata Motors would like to launch its offering just prior to the festive season. They recently launched the Twist variant of the hatchback, which sports power steering and more creature comforts.

Tata Motors will develop its F-Tronic range of vehicles with the help of Italy's Magneti Marelli. The Italian manufacturer supplies transmission to Formula One race cars. The Automated Manual Transmission will be top notch and we could expect smooth performance out of it.

The Indian manufacturer will be launching its AMT version with additional features too like the boot will be openable, making it a five-door. This will be the first time the Nano's boot will be openable and is a welcomed change.

When we witnessed the AMT hatchback by Tata at the 2014 Auto Expo, we were told that they could redesign the bumper and headlights. This will make it stand out from the normal Nano and create a bit of exclusivity. The car will be more premium than the very first Nano that was rolled out by the Indian manufacturer.

Tata Motors will be also launching its new Zest sedan and Bolt hatchback which is set to rejuvenate its market. We believe Tata could provide the same AMT in both these vehicles. It is important to have an automatic transmission on offer today as the Indian market is evolving. More and more people are opting for the more easy to drive in traffic automatic transmission vehicles.
