Suzuki Motorcycle Prices Come Down Aggressively

The Japanese manufacturer Suzuki recently launched the Inazuma in India and followed it by showcasing a few other vehicles like the Lets scooter and Gixxer motorcycle. The Inazuma was launched with a price tag of INR 3,15,007 ex-showroom Mumbai.

Many people believe Suzuki have overpriced the Inazuma in India and listening to them the Japanese manufacturer has decided to lower the price of its quarter litre bike. They have decided to reprice the vehicle more aggressively.

The Japanese manufacturer will be reducing the price of its Inazuma by INR 1,00,000. The price will vary from location to location as every state has its separate tax structure and percentage it charges. A recent decrease in excise duty is the major factor in the price deduction.

Suzuki Inazuma sports a parallel twin 248 cc liquid cooled engine. The machine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 26 bhp and a peak torque of 22 Nm. The engine will sport fuel injection and will be mated to a smooth 6-speed manual transmission.

The 250cc competition is heating up with the likes of Honda's CBR250R, KTM Duke 200 along with its faired version the RC200. The soon to launch Yamaha's R25, which is highly revered in the auto industry and the Bajaj 200SS, which will be a value for money product.

When the Inazuma was launched the bike was overpriced however, with the revision in rates the motorcycle now makes more sense than before. In Delhi the quarter-litre twin cylinder engine will cost INR 2,35,000 OTR. Making it a great buy for a twin cylinder machine.
