Renault F1 Facility Could Be Bought By Red Bull
The French automobile manufacturer has its Formula One facility at Viry-Chatillon, Paris. There are rumours about Renault planning to sell its Formula One facility. The leading individuals prepared to buy the facility is Red Bull, who currently use Renault engines.
It has been evident the former multiple World Champion Sebastian Vettel has not been able to utilise the new engine as he would like. The blame has been pushed on to Renault, due to the reliability issues. They suffered a massive setback at their home track in Austria, last Sunday.

Red Bull made it somewhat evident after the Austrian Grand Prix they are more than willing to prepare its own Formula One engine. However, current Red Bull team owner Dietrich Mateschitz and Team Principal Christian Horner have denied rumours about producing its own engines.

Currently Renault engines power Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Lotus and Caterham. Lotus has made its displeasure evident and has decided to switch its engine provider. They will be opting for the more successful Mercedes engine for 2015. Renault has also reported that a few of its F1 clients are not paying it bills.

Red Bull currently uses a customer engine, which does not allow them to modify much with it. However, if they could get a works engine they could work on it to further improve it. In 2015 Honda will be providing works engine and Red Bull could certainly opt for it.
McLaren will use the works Honda engine next year. They currently utilise the best engine in Formula One, however, it has not suited their car. They will be switching to a works engine for better prospects. We will have to wait and see which, route Red Bull chooses.
