Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet Coming To India
The German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has confirmed various launches in India. The three pointed star had claimed it would launch ten vehicles in 2014. They have so far launched five and another five are remaining.
Mercedes had recently stopped offering the E-Class convertible in India. There has been an increase in the purchases of luxury vehicles in India. The German manufacturer has recently launched its flagship S350 diesel in India, it will also be launching the E-Class Cabriolet by late 2014.
The German manufacturer is expected to launch the E400 Cabriolet in India. We expect Mercedes to price its cabriolet in the 75 to 85 lakh price bracket. This will be a great addition to its year of excellence lineup.

The E400 Cabriolet by Mercedes-Benz will look similar to the E63 AMG, to give it a more sporty and aggressive appeal. It will ride on 20-inch alloy wheels and have sporty bumpers. We expect the German manufacture will allow buyers to customise the Cabriolet to their liking.
Mercedes-Benz is expected to give the E400 Cabriolet a premium interior from the like of the E-Class sedan. Customer's would have the option to choose their choice of wood and leather within the cabin.
The 400 Cabriolet by Mercedes is expected to sport a 3.0-litre V6 engine. The engine will be capable of producing 480 Nm of peak torque along with 330 horsepower. It will be mated to a 7-speed, 7G-Tronic gearbox and will also feature a dual clutch automatic gearbox.
The German engineered E400 Cabriolet will hit top speeds in the range of 250 km/h, thanks to an electronic restrictor. It will be capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in a quick 5.3 seconds. The Cabriolet will be a great offering in India and will surely have a few buyers.
