Mercedes-Benz Launching Edition 1 A And B-Class In India
Mercedes-Benz India has a goal of launching ten new vehicles in its portfolio for 2014. It is now moving attention to its smaller sized vehicles the A-Class and B-Class. Both these vehicles will get a special edition model called 'Edition 1' and will be sold in limited numbers.
The German manufacturer is planning to launch the Edition 1 across India on the 24th of June, 2014. The limited edition model will be available only in the A180 CDI and B180 CDI, which sport a diesel-powered engine.

Mercedes-Benz will be maintaining international standards, which it provides elsewhere. The A-Class and B-Class Edition 1 models will feature similar equipment that is available internationally. They will be packed with features and goodies, that were not seen before in both the vehicles.

The Edition cars will get new set of alloy wheels, sport decals, panoramic sunroof and the Edition 1 badge. The interior of the special edition models will be premium and luxurious and will focus on the comfort and entertainment of the occupants.

The Edition A-Class and B-Class will not get any improvement underneath the hood. It will sport a 2.2-litre diesel engine capable of producing 107 horsepower. The engine will be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch auto-gearbox.
Mercedes-Benz will reveal prices of the limited edition model on 24th June, 2014. Being a special edition, we believe the price will be higher than the regular models of the German brand.
