Mercedes-Benz Confirm Launch Of New E 350 CDI In India

German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has termed the year 2014 as its ‘Year of Excellence'. They have launched several new products in India as promised at the 2014 Auto Expo, which was held in New Delhi.

Mercedes-Benz has recently launched for the first time a compact sedan in India. They have introduced the CLA45 with its AMG performance package. The German manufacturer will launch the regular model soon. They have now announced it will launch its new E 350 CDI on 11th of September.

The E 350 CDI will join Mercedes-Benz India's E-Class portfolio. It is expected to be the new top variant in the German manufacturer's E-Class range. We believe Mercedes will offer the new vehicle with an optional AMG package for those who need the extra grunt.

In terms of design and styling of the new E 350 CDI, it will be similar to the current E-Class range on offer in India. However, the interiors are expected to be spruced up for an even more premium atmosphere within the cabin. It is also expected to get a host of additional creature comforts.

Globally the E-Class portrays a safe care image and Mercedes-Benz want to re-establish it in India as well. The German luxury car manufacturer will provide its E 350 CDI with its Intelligent Drive package. This includes Active Lane Keeping Assist, Cross Traffic Assistant, Distronic Plus adaptive cruise control with steering assist.

They will also provide pedestrian recognition, blind spot warning, automatic parking and adaptive high beam lights. The vehicle will be comfortable for four people and will have its main focus on the comfort of its passengers.

Mercedes-Benz has not revealed the specs and figures for its new E 350 CDI model. We expect the German automobile manufacturer will provide its vehicle with a 6-cylinder engine. It is most likely that the manufacturer will offer an AMG version at a later stage. We will get you more updates from the launch event, so stay tuned.
