Maruti Suzuki Opens Bookings For Its Ciaz Sedan
It is a known fact that Maruti Suzuki has a new product that it will launch soon. They had displayed the Ciaz as a concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi. They had promised to launch it within the year and will do it post the festive season.
The Japanese automobile giant has now opened booking for its Ciaz in India. Dealers have begun accepting booking for an advance of INR 21,000. They have received several inquiries in the past few days roughly around 12,000 plus inquiries alone.
The Ciaz sedan will replace Maruti Suzuki's SX4 in India and is their attempt at a more premium segment. The dealers claim to have already booked more than 3,000 Ciaz since bookings have opened. Indians love Maruti Suzuki products, however, their premium vehicles have not done well.

When launched the Ciaz sedan will compete against Honda's City, Hyundai's Verna and Ford's Fiesta. We expect it to be launched with a price tag ranging between INR 7,00,000 to INR 10,00,000 ex-showroom. The Ciaz will be packed with exclusive and segment first features.
