IIT Bombay Racing Team Ready For Formula Student UK 2014
The IIT(Indian Institute of Technology) Bombay Racing team will be participating in this years Formula Student United Kingdom 2014. They have revealed their competition vehicle called the EVo 3.0, which is an electric vehicle.
TE Connectivity has been a major contributor to the team by providing high performance connectors. These connectors improve safety, efficiency and performance of an electric vehicle. The EVo 3.0 will use an AMP+ HVP 1100 which, is touch safe, finger proof, one position high current connectors and headers. They are made for added flexibility in hybrid electric vehicles.
IIT Bombay Racing team will be competing against 200 racing outfits in the Formula Student United Kingdom 2014. Teams from across the Earth will compete at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, United Kingdom. The event will begin on 9th July, 2014 and will commence on 13th July, 2014.

Vishwanath S, Director of Automotive, TE India explains, "TE is happy to support IIT Bombay Racing for the Formula Student UK 2014. Team Captain Siddhesh Sakhalkar replied by saying, "We are thankful for TE's support to help us make the EVo 3.0 an extremely reliable, high-performance machine. We believe that we stand a good chance at Formula Student UK 2014."
The main goal of the entire team that has put in an effort to prepare the EVo 3.0 was to make a safe and reliable electric vehicle. Thanks to TE Connectivity, whose products are ruggedized in extra HV applications of 800kV and more.
