Hyundai Genesis At Geneva Motor Show 2014
At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Korean car manufacturer Hyundai unveiled their new Genesis sedan. The Genesis will be sold in UK to create a stronger footing for Hyundai. They will sell the cars in limited numbers and will be manufactured in Ulsan facility, Korea.
The Genesis will feature a 3.8 litre Petrol V6 GDI engine, coupled with a 8 speed auto gearbox. Hyundai states they have paid special attention to ride quality as well as driver engagement.

"All-new Genesis offers a unique premium ownership experience that demonstrates the true breadth of our engineering and technological capabilities," explains Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor Europe.

Hyundai Genesis
Hyundai Genesis is built keeping in mind US and Korea as the earlier models were accepted warmly. The new Genesis will be sold in limited numbers to create a brand awareness in European countries.

Hyundai Genesis Front View
The front grille of Hyundai Genesis looks similar to what is seen on Audi cars however, it is stretched out. Hyundai logo on the bonnet looks identical to Aston Martins logo design. Headlights have Daytime Running Lights in a c-shape.

Hyundai Genesis Side View
Hyundai Genesis looks similar to the Mercedes CLS from its side profile. The Alloy wheels look sporty however, something simpler would have also done. The door bottom gets chrome treatment, along with chrome accent around the windows.

Hyundai Genesis Rear View
The rear gets dual exhaust outlets, for a sporty look. The tail lamps look nice and make for a unique look. The car looks simple yet nice from backend. The Shark fin antenna and black roof add a sporty element to the car.

Hyundai Genesis Interior
The interior will feature a world first CO2 sensor in cabin. This system monitors gas levels and prevents the occupants from feeling drowsy. It will also sport auto emergency braking, cruise control and other safety aids. The interiors of Genesis however, look a bit clustered and have too many buttons all over the place. The Aston Martin looking Hyundai logo is seen over the steering wheel too.
