Force Gurkha 4x4 Deliveries Begin This September
Force Motors have launched the Gurkha SUV in India back in February, 2013. The manufacturer of the SUV received several negative feedback regarding its vehicle and have tried working on its offering, to improve it. They have refined the Gurkha SUV and have confirmed, deliveries will begin from September, 2014.
The Indian manufacturer is promising there would be more test vehicles for potential buyers to test out. Force has taken the feedback from previous owners and auto enthusiasts, to improve its product. Deliveries and booking of the vehicle will continue from September, 2014.

The quality of products used in the vehicle as well as the fit and finish has been taken up a notch. The cabin of Force Gurkha will be more silent than previous generation vehicles. The engineers have paid special attention to noise that creep inside the cabin. The air-conditioner has also been tweaked for better cooling and smooth operation.

Force Gurkha 4x4 is a true off-roader and the Indian manufacturer will offer several off-roading essentials for its vehicle. To overcome rough and extreme conditions while, off-roading owners need not worry about rocks below owing to the great ground clearance of 210mm. The SUV will sport differential locks both in the front as well as in the rear axle. It will also have a snorkel kit which, will come as standard by Force Motors.

Powering the Force Gurkha 4x4 is a 2.6-litre, turbocharged diesel mill provided by Mercedes. The engine is mated to a 5-speed synchromesh gearbox, it will also feature Hi-Lo options for the four-wheel drive. The engine is capable of producing 230 Nm of peak torque along with a power output of 82 PS.
Force Motors have created a 'crawler function', the system can understand the terrain and will modulate the fuel delivery to the combustion chamber. The chassis of Gurkha 4x4 is a tubular type and is capable of soaking any off-road activity.

The Gurkha 4x4 will be available in either a hard top or soft top option, there will be three colours to choose from. The car will come with a warranty of either three year or 3,00,000 kilometres. It will go head on with Mahindra's popular off-roader the Thar. Price is expected to be in the range of INR 8,35,000 to INR 8,50,000.
