Chevrolet Cruze Enters The Three Million Club

American based automobile manufacturer Chevrolet recently launched its new and refreshed Cruze in China. The 2015 Cruze was showcased first at the Beijing Motor Show. The power packed sedan is expected to be launched in India as well and will replace the previous model.

The Cruze is a global product from the stables of General Motors. Chevrolet has now reported another milestone achieved by their popular global sedan. There are over three million Cruze across the globe. They had reported reaching the two million mark just 16 months ago.

The first generation Cruze was launched by Chevrolet back in 2008 and have recently launched a refreshed model for 2015. General Motors have renamed this vehicle in different countries. In Australia the vehicle was rebadged as Holden Cruze, while in South Korea it was badged as Daewoo Lacetti Premiere.

In India and United States of America General Motors offers its Chevrolet Cruze only as a sedan. However, the vehicle is provided as a hatchback or as an estate model in certain markets. Various markets also get different engines based on what is preferred there.

With the new 2015 Cruze Chevrolet has implemented even more safety as standard. The sedan gets ten air bags as a standard feature, it also gets rear vision camera with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone.

The 2015 Cruze also feature 4G LTE connection with Wi-Fi connectivity. Individuals can be connected to the internet, when on the move. Chevrolet will also provide their new model with OnStar and Siri Eyes Free integration. The sedan also gets more premium features within the cabin.

The American based manufacturer will also provide the new 2015 Cruze with the cleanest diesel engine ever. The sedan will be powered by an optional 2.0-litre turbocharged clean diesel engine. Chevrolet claims this engine will be frugal and will deliver a fuel efficiency of 16.28 kpl.
