Audi Sportscar Experience 2014 Held In Bangalore
Audi, India's largest luxury car company in terms of sales, brought its driving experience program, the Audi Sportscar Experience (ASE) to Bangalore for the first time. The exciting ASE program was held on Jan 25th and 26th on a closed section of NICE road where enthusiasts got the opportunity to drive a variety of high performance German machines from the house of Audi.

Over a hundred potential customers and existing Audi owners participated in the event where they got to experience the thrill of driving sportscar models, the Audi TT, Audi RS5 and Audi S4. An Audi Q5 SUV was also part of the lineup. Besides driving the sportscars, participants also got to sit inside and photograph themselves with an Audi R8 V10 that was brought in only as a display car.
Audi Sportscar Experience was not simply about driving fast. Rather participants got the rare opportunity to be instructed by renowned experts who taught the basics of driving high performance cars, such as breaking and their handling characteristics, along with providing safety instructions.
Having got the lifetime opportunity to get behind the wheels of an Audi S4 and an Audi TT Coupe, with national champion Deepak Paul Chinnappa sitting in the passenger's seat it was a wonderful opportunity to learn the finer points of taking the wheels of a powerful car.
The Audi TT felt calm and composed, with relaxed power delivery, even when you floor the pedal. Doing the same in the S4 unleashes the 333 horses, momentarily pushing you back against your seat and accelerating off to three digit speeds before you realise. Both cars handle sweetly, even at slow speeds, with smooth and measured power delivery.
