2015 BMW X6 Unveiled India Launch Soon
The German luxury car manufacturer BMW recently launched the X5 with a facelift. Now they have globally unveiled its SAV(Sports Activity Vehicle) the X6 and it is sure to come to India. BMW has witnessed great success in the luxury SUV segment and would like to further cement their position.
BMW will soon be launching the second generation of the X6 globally and we are sure they would be getting the vehicle in India too. The German manufacturer will be adding a sportier bumper adding muscle to the front end. The headlights and BMW's iconic kidney grille will be made bigger and definitive.
The second generation X6 by BMW will be 32mm longer, 33mm taller and 6mm wider than the previous generation X6. The German's have managed to maintain the wheelbase of the vehicle at 2933mm. BMW calls their 2015 X6 as a Sport Activity Vehicle(SAV).

BMW will offer its new 2015 X6 with three engine choices. The first is a 4.4-litre V8, TwinPower Turbo engine, it is capable of producing 650 Nm of peak torque along with maximum power of 450 PS. The SAV can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, it can achieve top speeds of 250 km/h.
The second will be a diesel six-cylinder, 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine. It is equipped to generate 560 Nm of peak torque along with a maximum power output of 258 PS. The X6 can perform the 0 to 100km/h dash in 6.7 seconds and can easily hit its top speed of 230 km/h.
The third will be their most expensive and tech filled engine. It will offer a 3.0-litre Tri-Turbo, six-cylinder diesel powertrain. The engine will produce 740 Nm of torque along with 381 PS. 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in a quick 5.2 seconds. The most power packed engine among the three can achieve a top speed of 250 km/h.
Price and further details of the 2015 X6 will be revealed during a period that is closer to the launch of the SAV in India. BMW has also planned an array of vehicles for the Indian market and the X6 is surely bound for India.
