After first telling us about the existence of the Nano Twist, AutoCar has now revealed further information about the power steering equipped Nano. Here is a quick rundown on things we know about the car so far.

- Tata Nano without powering steering will continue to be offered alongside the Nano Twist, which is expected to cost about Rs 15,000 more than than the regular model.
- The power steering in the Nann Twist is developed by German firm ZF and is of the electronic type.
- Tata Nano Twist will be available in two variants - XE and XT, which will be equivalent to CX and LX variants of the regular Nano.
- Tata Nano Twist will be available in a new purple body colour
Tata Motors is said to have worked on the power steering unit for the Nano Twist for almost an year and a half. Testing and tweaking the system throughout, to gain a good balance between road feel and steering comfort. The 2015 Tata Nano, which will appear with several visual upgrades as well, will look to shed it cheap car image for more contemporary city car that fun and convenient to drive in the city.
