Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition India Bookings Start : Features, Spec
Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition, a special limited run Cayenne was announced for Europe earlier this week. Surprisingly, the special edition Cayenne has already been confirmed for India, with a launch scheduled for Feb 2014, at the Auto Show.

While pricing for India has not been announced, Porsche dealerships have reportedly started accepting bookings already. Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition features not just visual upgrades, but also some minor engine tweaks and is available across the six cylinder, petrol and diesel engine variant lineup.
One can buy a Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition in a wide range of colours which include, Platinum Silver Metallic, Meteor Grey Metallic, Basalt Black Metallic, Mahogany Metallic and Carrara White Metallic.
The special edition SUV also features 19 inch Cayenne Design II wheels and Bi-Xenon headlights.
The interior is covered in Black-Luxor Beige coloured upholstery, with leather elements. A full leather interior is available as optional feature. The floor mats feature Luxor Beige edging with the Porsche logo and the sill plates read ‘Platinum Edition'.
Mechanical features include, eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission, power steering plus and Park Assist systems - both at the front and rear. Also part of the package are Porsche Communication Management system, which comprises of a 7-inch colour touch screen infotainment system and a 235 watt 11 speaker audio system.
Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition 3.6 liter V6 petrol generates 300 HP diesel engine delivers 245 HP. In Europe, Cayenne Platinum Edition has a starting price of 66,379 euros for the petrol and 67,212 euros for the diesel.
