2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pre Bookings In India Begin
2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is scheduled to be launched in India early in January, but Merc dealerships have reportedly started accepting bookings for the new king of premium luxury sedans already.
For INR 25 lakhs, the price for which you could buy a Mercedes A-Class, you can book an S-Class. The pre bookings are for the Mercedes S500 Limited Edition, of which only 125 units will be available in India.

Mercedes will take its time to launch the regular S-Class, Merc S350CDI, which is scheduled to be officially made available only towards the middle of the year.
2014 Mercedes S500 Limited Edition will be powered by a 455 PS/616 Nm twin turbo V8 engine and will wear ‘Edition 1' badging on the fender. Naturally, the Edition 1 model will also be more luxurious than the standard S350CDI, which will come sporting a 258 PS/619 Nm V6 engine. The S-Class will only be offered in white and black colours.
The new Mercedes S-Class will compete with Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series for the crown of the best premium luxury saloon.
