Maserati 100 Year Anniversary Celebration; A Grand Affair
December accounts for the Centenary year of Maserati. The Italian Manufacturer is one of the fastest growing Super-Car brands in America and 70 other markets around the world. Maserati believe they are 100 years young and not old.
In times of unprecedented health and unparalleled growth, Maserati have accomplished more than 23,000 orders to date. Los Angeles Auto Show witnessed a new brand look and marketing communication campaign, which is inspired by "The Absolute Opposite of Ordinary" concept. This concept serves as a testament, guideline for Centenaries ahead.

Maserati have planned a series of activities, in honor of the 100 years that have gone by. It is believed that around 250 Maserati models from every nook and corner of the world will meet on 19-21, September 2014 in Modena, Italy. A detailed programme of the event will be made available at a later time.
Centenary logo
A centennial logo has been introduced by Maserati. This Trident was inspired by ancient Italian sculptures, which fits the 100th year of passion in car building. The Logo is more a Medallion than graphic, its a forged Living symbol of the Racing Heritage, more importantly unique amongst other Luxury Brands.Maserati's core belief is everything it builds for another 100 years will be The Absolute Opposite Of The Ordinary
December 1, 1914 was the inception of Maserati in Bologna, Italy. Their operations though started later, on December 14, 1914. At the epicenter was Alfieri Maserati and his two siblings Ettore and Ernesto.
Two more siblings joined after the death of Alfieri; Bindo and Mario, who is credited for the famed trident that drew inspiration from the Neptune Fountain in Bologna. All siblings spent good quality time behind the steering of their racing car in the golden era of motor racing.
In 1926 Maserati produced its First Automobile, which was a race car christened ‘Tipo 26'. It triumphed with victory, in its maiden race at Targa in 1926. A streak of victories followed which include 2 editions of Indianapolis 500, 9 Formula One victories and the F1 world championship in 1957.
The first passenger car by Maserati was the A6 Grand Tourer in 1963. Their current product line consists of the Brand New Quattroporte and Ghibli. These works of art are derived from long tradition as well as successful Italian lineage.
