It's not surprising why Lamborghini chose to showcase the Veneno Roadster in the Middle East. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann admitted the same, stating "Lamborghini has an extremely strong following in the region for its super sports cars, with the Middle East being one of our largest markets in the world."

"Singer and actress Elena Bonelli opened the event with the Italian national anthem; fashion designer Giada Curti offered a tableau vivant of her creations with ten top models. One of the happy few to sit in the Veneno Roadster was former captain of the national Italian soccer team and 2006 world champion Fabio Cannavaro," Lamborghini stated in a statement.

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is a €3.3 million ($4.47 million) sports car that's based on the Aventador. Only nine of these supercars will be made and we won't be surprised if at least half of those are sold in the Middle East.

This incredible machine, which many jovially refer to as the Lamborghini Origami car, is powered by the same 6.5 liter V12 engine, rated at 740 HP. A 7 speed ISR automatic transmission drives all four wheels, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and take it to a top speed of 355 km/h.

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster also sports an incredible array of hardware, including sports suspension and high performance brakes. The car is also incredible light, thanks to its carbon-fiber reinforced polymer monocoque chassis and body parts.
