Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Anniversary Edition Marks First B’day
Maruti Suzuki's high selling selling model, Alto is available in two special edition variants this festive season. Just last week the automaker came out with a limited edition model, Alto K10 Musik Edition. It has followed it up this week with an Anniversary Edition of the Alto 800. It was during last year's festive season that Maruti Suzuki launched the extensively facelifted and improved Alto 800.
The company is presumably offering the Anniversary Edition package with the LXi trim of the Alto 800. The Anniversary Edition package included, the Alto 800 is available for INR 3.12 lakhs. The LXi trim otherwise costs INR 2.99 lakhs. (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The Anniversary Edition VXi trim should cost a lower premium since some of these features are offered as standard on this trim.
Following is the list of extra features that makes up the Anniversary Edition.

- Body graphics
- New seat cover fabrics
- Blacked out B-pillar
- Scratch guards on the sides
- Rear parcel tray
- Body coloured wing mirror
- Optional audio system
Expectedly, there are no mechanical changes. The Alto 800 is still powered by a three cylinder 796cc petrol engine outputting 46 HP and 69 Nm torque, with 5 speed manual transmission turning the front wheels.
