Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Revealed In All Its Top Less Glory
Lamborghini has released the first images of the what is a roof less version of its mental looking Veneno hypercar. The images come, courtesy of Top Gear UK magazine, which seems to be the sole acquirer of these images.
The Veneno Roadster is just as crazy looking as the Veneno Coupe, but the excitement will go up a notch when someone drives when they feel the elements. And you might have already guessed from the term ‘roadster' that the roof has been permanently sheared off. This, lamborghini says, "guarantees an intense driving experience." We'll say that's an understatement.

The Lamborghini Veneno coupe, underneath all the alien carbon fiber garment is an Aventador. The Veneno thus gets 740 bhp power from its 6.5 liter V12 engine.

The power is transferred to a permanent all-wheel drive configuration via a seven speed sequential manual transmission. Even without the roof the Veneno Roadster still weighs 1,490kg.

100 km/h is reached in a mere 2.9 seconds like in the Veneno, but imagine the same experience without a roof over your head. Top speed is reached at 354 km/h. Formula 1 race drivers are among the only few brave enough to reach those speeds without the protection of a roof.

The interior looks unchanged, except for the side windows, which have an oddly angled shape, which gives the impression that it's position is fixed.

Naturally, every buyer will be able to get the Veneno Roadster customised however they like, but the "Rosso Veneno" colour will be kept exclusive to the Veneno Roadster.

While the Veneno cost $4.4 million and was limited to just 3 units, the Roadster will be a little less exclusive, with Lamborghini confirming nine units.

But the price has gone up a notch, with each unit coming up to a whopping $5.3 million or €3.9 million or Rs 32.66 crore.
