Lamborghini’s Mysterious V10 Engine Teaser Hints At Gallardo Successor

By Ganesh

Only a day after the very last Gallardo left Lamborghini's manufacturing facility the Italian supercar maker has launched a microsite, teasing us with the first sample of something new.

The micro site, mysteriously named the Hexagon Project, greets you with the following text: "Listen to your instinct. Discover the roar of a new creature from Lamborghini. That will be just the beginning." You are then encouraged to press an Aventador style push start ignition button. Do that and you are treated to the sound of an engine.

The site then requests you to provide your email-id, most likely to send notification or share the teaser to unlock more content.

It's all quite mysterious and no has any clue as to which car the engine sound belongs to. The first name that comes to the head is the Cabrera, the car that's supposed to be the Gallardo replacement.

However, if you dwell into it a bit more you realise that "Hexagon" Project could also be related to Sesto Elemento. You see, Sesto in Italian is 6 and Hexagon has six sides.

We'll do the only thing that we can do now. Wait for more details to emerge. Meanwhile, you can head over to hexagonproject.com, listen to the engine and come up with your own conclusion.
