Honda Amaze Helps Company Registry Amazing Sales In November 2013
Honda Cars India has registered an amazing sales growth figure of 151 percent during the month of November 2013. The Japanese automaker sold a healthy 9,332 vehicles locally during the month. That's a huge improvement over the 3,711 units sold in the corresponding month last year. The company also exported 806 units in November.

Over growth for Honda Cars India, from April till November 2013 was recorded at 70 percent, having witnessed sale of 80,163 units against 47,236 units during the corresponding period last year.

Not surprisingly, the volume seller was the Amaze. Of the 9,332 vehicles sold, 7,598 were Amaze compact sedans. The remaining numbers were covered by Brio (1,712) and CRV (22). Honda recently unveiled the new City sedan with a diesel engine for the first time, which is expected to further boost Honda's growth in the coming months.

HCIL registered an overall growth of 70% in April - November 2013 with 80,163 units as against 47,236 units during the corresponding period last year.
Commenting on the company's performance, Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice President - Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd., said, "Led by strong demand for Honda Amaze, HCIL has experienced robust sales month after month since April 2013. During November 2013, our sales grew up by 151%.This month was also important as we unveiled the all new 4th Generation Honda City in India and we are confident that we will enter a new era of Honda's dominance in premium cars with City's launch scheduled in January 2014."
