Ford EcoSport Price Hiked; Other Models To Follow Suit
Its been a little more than 2 months since the launch of Ford EcoSport. In the weeks since, Ford issued a recall due to a minor concern, suspended bookings temporarily due to overwhelming demand and received a record number of bookings, exceeding 40,000 units. The only thing that seems to have not been done was a price hike and even that has now been covered.
Ford has hiked the price across the EcoSport variant line, ranging from approx Rs 30,000 to 50,000, depending on the trim level. It should be noted that the price hike is not exclusive to the EcoSport, but will affect the entire Ford product lineup in India. Prices are expected to go up by 1 to 5 percent.
