Ferrari California Replacement To Debut At Geneva Motor Show
The next gen Ferrari California, the name of which is not yet known, is still undergoing road testing, but should be production ready in March, in time for a Geneva Motor Show reveal, several reports claim.

The entry level mass production Ferrari will retain its characteristic folding roof, but will feature several performance, visual and electronic updates. The California replacement will be lighter, with an all aluminium body and will have design elements borrowed from the F12berlinetta, as well as 458 Italia.
The outdated user interface is also expected to be replaced by a modern system, developed with the aid of tech giant Apple, with deep iOS/Siri integration.

However, the major change will be seen under the hood, which will house a turbocharged engine, for the first time in a Ferrari since F40 from the 1980s. The turbocharged engine is rumored to be a version of the Ferrari built 3.8 liter V8 that's found in the Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli models.
In the Maserati, the 3.8 V8 generates 523 HP and 479 ft-lb of torque, however, in the California the same engine can be expected to deliver better performance, thanks to a new turbo unit.
Ferrari dealerships already said have started accepting bookings for the next gen Ferrari California (or replacement), with units expected to hit the road by a couple of months after its geneva debut.
