BMW India Announces Price Hike From Jan 2014
BMW India has announced that it'll hike prices across its product lineup in the country. Price hike to the tune of seven to 10 percent will come into effect from January 1, 2014. The increase in price will also affect BMW owned Mini models.

Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India commented: "BMW is the strongest and the most trusted luxury automotive brand in India. We offer our customers exclusively authentic premium luxury products, which are differentiated by their emotional appeal, uncompromising engineering, innovative technology and outstanding quality. Premium is beyond mainstream."

We are making price decisions with all due care and consideration ensuring that they pay off in the long run."

However, to aid potential customers in purchasing BMW vehicle before the price hike comes into effect, BMW Financial Services India and MINI Financial Services will offer additional financing solutions. The manufacturer owned financial services will also offer lease options for individuals and corporate customers, along with a insurance options through their cooperation partners in India.
BMW India manufacturers 1 Series, the 3 Series, the 5 Series, the 7 Series, the X1 SUV and the X3 SUV in its Chennai plant, along with the Mini Countryman. All other models are imported as completely built units depending on orders.
