Audi Q3 Records 400 Bookings In Just 5 Days
Targeting the young buyers in the country, German luxury carmaker Audi had launched the Q3 crossover last week. Doing justice to the company, the Q3 has recorded 400 bookings in just five days. (Read: Audi Launches Sporty Q3 Crossover At Rs 26L)
The response the Q3 has received is stunning considering the Rs 30 lakh price tag of the crossover which is not a volume seller like a Maruti Suzuki or Mahindra car. Also think that the company has just 19 showrooms across the country.
It is also worth noting that the carmaker has only allotted 500 Q3s for India in the first allocation which means only 100 Q3s are left for bookings as of now. The Q3 will be brought as knocked-down kits from Europe and assembled at the carmakers Aurangabad plant.
The Q3 has been competitively priced with a starting price of Rs 26 lakhs. The sporty crossover also gets Audi's legendary Quattro all wheel drive system which gives the Q3 an upperhand on its straight rival, the BMW X1. The Q3 is available only in diesel guise as of now.

The main attractiveness of the Q3 is its sportiness and cutting edge design. There's no wonder if the Q3 steals a major chunk of sales from its X1 rival.
