The new Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire carries the new Swift's design completely in the front. The startling differences that you expect from a sedan carved out of a hatch can be seen only in the rear. The boot is smaller and appears very small to the naked eye when compared to the current version. Maruti Suzuki has claimed there is a loss of 100 litres in storage space in the boot.

This loss in luggage space is marginal for an entry level sedan. The most noticeable aspect of the new DZire is that the boot looks even more awkward than the current model. While most of the body has a smooth curvacious design, only the boot ends up with having a boxy squarish look that looks out of place.

Since the new Swift DZire is derived from the new Swift, there is no dearth for interior space. In fact the new version has more space than the current model. The interior design has also got a re look with dual tone interiors finished in top quality plastics.
