MG Cyberster, M9 EV Prices Jump By ₹5 Lakh – Here’s Why
JSW MG Motor India has hiked the prices of its premium cars in India. The models include the MG M9 electric MPV and the MG Cyberster EV roadster. Both these cars are now demanding up to ₹5 lakh more than their earlier pricing.
JSW-MG Motor India Hikes Prices For Premium Cars
Several car manufacturers are struggling with rising input costs of raw materials and components. The Middle East crisis has added more pressure on manufacturers to keep their operations running. In order to stay competitive and avoid losses, many OEMs have already raised their car prices.

JSW MG Motor India has also hiked the prices of its MG Select models like the Cyberster and M9 by up to ₹5 lakh. The Cyberster, which was earlier sold for ₹74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), now costs ₹77.49 lakh (ex-showroom), marking a steep increase of ₹2.50 lakh. The M9 EV MPV, which earlier cost ₹69.90 lakh (ex-showroom), will now cost ₹75.90 lakh (ex-showroom), reflecting a ₹5 lakh price hike.
MG Cyberster - Electric Sports Car
MG Motor India had already hiked prices for its regular models earlier this month, and now its premium models like the M9 and the Cyberster have followed a price revision. The Cyberster is a roadster powered by a 77 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 580 km. MG claims it to be the fastest electric vehicle in its lineup.

It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. This is made possible by two powerful electric motors producing 528 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. This convertible luxury sports car features an AWD system and can reach a top speed of 200 km/h.
MG M9 EV - Luxury Electric MPV
The M9 electric MPV is a luxury vehicle powered by a 90 kWh NMC battery pack with a claimed range of 548 km. It gets several premium features such as ventilated seats, massage seats, a dual-pane sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a 13-speaker sound system powered by JBL, deep recline seats, extendable footrests, electric sliding doors, and a driver monitoring system.
