Simple Energy Ultra Electric Scooter Launched At ₹2.35 Lakh – 400km Range, 115km/h Top Speed
Simple Energy has officially launched the Ultra electric scooter in India. The Simple Energy Ultra is priced at ₹2,34,999, ex-showroom. The Ultra is available for purchase through Simple Energy's official website as well as its physical retail outlets. Test rides are currently underway in select cities, and deliveries of the Simple Ultra have already commenced.
The Simple Energy Ultra is part of Simple Energy's Gen 2 platform lineup and is designed primarily for long-distance commuting. It is powered by a 6.5kWh battery pack and offers a claimed IDC range of 400km, which puts it among the longest-range electric scooters available in the country right now.
On the performance front, the Simple Ultra can hit a top speed of 115 km/h and sprint from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.77 seconds. Simple Energy positions it as the second fastest scooter in their lineup, behind the Simple One (5kWh variant). Feature highlights include four levels of traction control and a 7-inch touchscreen display for ride data and vehicle functions.

Simple Energy currently operates close to 70 touchpoints across India, with presence in cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Agra, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Aurangabad, and Chennai. The company plans to extend its network further to cities such as Nagpur, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar in the coming months.

The all-new Simple Ultra marks Simple Energy's fourth product update in 2026. In January, the company introduced the second-generation Simple One and Simple OneS.
The Simple One Gen 2 is offered in two variants, with claimed IDC ranges of 236km and 265km, priced from ₹1,94,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The Simple OneS Gen 2 has a claimed IDC range of 190km and is priced at ₹1,74,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
