MG4 Takes Home 'Best Used EV' Title At The Prestigious 2024 AM Awards
The MG4, MG's all-electric hatchback, has recently been honoured with the title of 'Best Used EV' at the 2024 Automotive Management (AM) Awards. This accolade marks the first time the vehicle has received an award in the 'Used' category since its debut in 2022. The recognition comes from both AM readers and a distinguished panel of automotive industry experts, highlighting the MG4's outstanding performance, reliability, and its ability to maintain a strong residual value.
Tim Rose, Editor of Automotive Management, praised the MG4 for its appeal to both automotive professionals and consumers. He noted, "Right from the outset, the MG4 impressed as an enjoyable to drive, competitively-priced and generously equipped EV hatchback." Since its launch, the MG4 has seen over 30,000 sales in the UK alone. The model range includes several variants such as the SE, SE Long Range, Trophy Long Range, and Trophy Extended Range. These models offer up to 323 miles of driving range based on Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) figures. Additionally, the all-wheel-drive MG4 XPOWER variant stands out as a high-performance EV hatchback that reconnects MG with its rich sporting heritage.
