KGM Motors UK has recently made a significant addition to its team by appointing Keith Chaffe as the Head of Technical and Customer Service. With over two decades of experience in the automotive sector, Chaffe is poised to enhance the company's customer service and technical support, marking a pivotal moment in KGM Motors' ongoing efforts to elevate its service standards.
Keith Chaffe's journey in the automotive industry began as a vehicle technician, eventually leading teams to provide exceptional technical support services. His role has spanned across both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) sectors, equipping him with a broad perspective on customer service excellence. "I'm delighted to be joining KGM Motors at what is a very exciting period for the company. I’m very much looking forward to leading the support of our customer and dealer network to deliver the best service possible," Chaffe commented on his new role.

Stephen Bucci, General Manager Service Operations at KGM Motors UK, expressed his enthusiasm for Chaffe's appointment, highlighting it as a crucial part of the department's restructuring efforts aimed at providing superior operational and technical support. "His wealth of experience and expertise in the industry will undoubtedly enhance the support we provide to our valued customers and help us build long-lasting relationships with both our customer and dealer network," Bucci stated.
KGM Global, formerly known as KGM Motor Company, has a rich history dating back to 1954. Originating from Korea, the company has established itself as a reliable manufacturer of 4x4s, SUVs, MPVs, and pick-up trucks. Its headquarters are located in Seoul's Gangnam district, with its principal manufacturing plant in Pyungtaek. This facility is equipped with the capacity and latest technology to produce 240,000 cars annually. Furthermore, KGM has invested in a new factory in the same area, dedicated to the production of pure-electric vehicles.
The UK distribution rights for KGM were acquired by Bassadone Automotive Group in 2011. Operating as KGM UK Limited, it serves as the official importer and distributor of KGM vehicles, parts, and accessories within the UK. Undergoing significant transformations in recent years, KGM UK Limited has introduced a new management team and growth strategy. This strategy focuses on expanding its dealer network to 80-strong by 2024 and offering UK customers a full range of SUVs and pick-ups that combine generous specifications with value for money prices.
