Xiaomi's First Ever Hybrid Is A Living Room On Wheels - Meet The SkyNomad N90

Details about the Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 have emerged through a filing with China's ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT). The SkyNomad N90 rides on Xiaomi's new Kunlun Architecture and is the company's first range-extender EV(hybrid).

Xiaomi SkyNomad N90: Design & Features
The Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 features a boxy, upright stance unlike Xiaomi's sleeker SU7 and YU7 EV offerings. Up front, the SkyNomad N90 sports a full-width light bar along with LED headlamps and T-shaped daytime running lights. The shut-off grille section features the SkyNomad wordmark and a wide air dam sits below, flanked by vertical intakes, while a LiDAR sensor sits on the roof's leading edge.
The SkyNomad N90 rides on 21-inch alloy wheels and gets flush door handles, subtle body cladding and a large glass area. At the rear, there are C-Shaped LED taillights connected by a LED light bar underneath which sits another SkyNomad wordmark. Also seen is a sizable roof spoiler that also conceals the wiper.

Xiaomi has yet to reveal the SkyNomad N90's full dashboard, but the images shown so far reveal a large freestanding infotainment touchscreen with minimal physical controls. Tan upholstery, a second-row entertainment screen and a dual-pane sunroof feature among the highlights.
The Xiaomi SkyNomad N90 will be offered in 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. The 7-seat layout gets powered, reclining second-row captain seats with ottomans, along with a third row that can seat up to three occupants.

Both front seats can swivel to face the second row, creating a face-to-face cabin layout. In the 5-seater version of the SkyNomad N90, the absence of a third row leaves room for a fold-out coffee table between the first and second rows.
