Volkswagen has upgraded the Volkswagen Taigun Facelift with a new facelift that features updated design elements and several new technologies. This compact SUV is available in six different trims and two powertrain options. Here, we rank the variants based on their features and overall value.

It also features Active Cylinder Technology, which shuts down two cylinders to improve fuel efficiency.

This trim comes loaded with top-of-the-line features, including a panoramic sunroof, all-wheel disc brakes, a new touchscreen infotainment system and digital cluster, paddle shifters, ventilated front seats, and wireless connectivity. However, unlike the Kushaq facelift, the Taigun does not offer rear seat massage even in the top trims.

Additional highlights include red ambient lighting, sporty black seats, and an electric sunroof, making it a good choice for buyers who prefer a sportier look without opting for the more expensive GT Plus variants.

4. Topline

The Topline is one of the feature-rich trims in the lineup, powered by the 1.0L TSI engine with both manual and automatic options. Key highlights include paddle shifters, a panoramic sunroof with a summer function, ventilated front seats, KESSY push-button start/stop, smart touch climatronic AC, a cooled glove box, wireless connectivity, and a Google-powered infotainment system.

5. Highline

The Highline is the entry trim for buyers looking for the 8-speed automatic transmission at a more affordable price. It is powered by the 1.0L TSI petrol engine. Its feature list includes rear AC vents, front and rear parking sensors, a 6-speaker system, wireless connectivity, a 25.65 cm VW Play touchscreen infotainment system, and smart touch climatronic AC.

6. Comfortline

This is the base variant of the Taigun facelift and is best suited for budget-conscious buyers who want to enter the Volkswagen lineup at a lower price point. It includes essential features but lacks premium additions.

Unlike the Kushaq facelift, the base variant does not offer alloy wheels or a single-pane sunroof, which could have improved its value proposition. Therefore, it ranks lowest in the lineup and is recommended mainly for buyers with tight budgets.
