Vinfast VF MPV 7 Launched At Rs 24.49 Lakh - 517km ARAI Range
Vinfast has launched the VF MPV 7 electric MPV in India at Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Vinfast VF MPV 7 is the Vietnamese brand's third product in the country after the VF6 and VF7 e-SUVs, and is offered in a single variant.
For Indian buyers looking at an electric seven-seater, the VF MPV 7 will rival the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7. Vinfast is offering a Rs 2 lakh exchange incentive for customers trading in a combustion-powered vehicle. Vinfast has also committed to a 75 per cent buyback value.
The ownership package for the Vinfast VF MPV includes 3-year free maintenance, a 7-year vehicle warranty and a 10-year battery warranty. Like the VF6 and VF7, VF MPV 7 buyers get free charging at Vinfast's V-Green EV charging stations until March 31, 2029.
Vinfast VF MPV 7 Launched: Battery and Performance
The Vinfast VF MPV 7 is powered by a 60.13kWh battery pack paired with a front-axle-mounted electric motor producing 204hp and 280Nm. Vinfast claims a 0-100kph time of under 9 seconds and an ARAI-rated range of 517km on a full charge.
Three driving modes are on offer with the Vinfast VF MPV 7 - Eco, Normal and Sport - along with selectable brake regeneration settings. For charging, the VF MPV 7 supports up to 80kW DC fast charging, which takes the battery from 10 to 70 per cent in 30 minutes.
Vinfast VF MPV 7 Launched: Exterior Design
The Vinfast VF MPV 7 has a boxy silhouette with design cues shared with the smaller VF6 and VF7. Up front, it gets slim OLED lightbars that flow into the Vinfast logo, vertically stacked LED projector headlights, a blanked-off grille and a rugged black bumper section with horizontal detailing.
On the sides, it rides on 19-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels and features body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn signals, a chrome beltline strip and thin black cladding along the wheel arches and lower body.
At the rear, a connected LED taillight bar converges at the centre with the Vinfast logo, mirroring the front DRL treatment. Other details include a roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper and washer and a shark-fin antenna.

Vinfast VF MPV 7 Launched: Interior & Features
The cabin is available in two colour themes - black and brown, or all-black. All seven seats get leatherette upholstery, adjustable headrests and three-point seatbelts. The dashboard follows a minimal layout centred around a 10.1-inch touchscreen that also handles instrumentation and climate control duties. The steering wheel is a three-spoke flat-bottom unit with tilt and telescopic adjustment and a column-mounted drive selector stalk. The centre console houses a wireless phone charger, two cupholders and a storage cubby.
Other features include all four power windows with one-touch and anti-pinch functionality, automatic climate control with dedicated vents for all three rows and a powered driver's seat. Safety equipment covers 6 airbags, a rear parking camera with sensors, an electronic parking brake, hill hold assist and TPMS.
