Upcoming Car Launches/Reveals (March 2026) — Duster, Kushaq, Ebella, V-Class, Tekton
March 2026 will see four confirmed car launches and one major unveil in India, as a host of new/revised SUVs from Renault, Toyota, Skoda and Nissan, and a premium MPV from Mercedes-Benz make their way into India.
The third month of 2026 will see new car launches from Renault and Toyota, along with the unveiling of a brand-new C-SUV from Nissan. Meanwhile, Skoda and Mercedes will be launching mid-cycle refreshes for the Indian market. So let's take a deeper look at the new SUVs and MPV launching in March.

Renault Duster
Renault will launch the new-generation Duster in India on the 17th of March. The new-gen Renault Duster is based on the Dacia Duster sold in Europe but brings a whole lot of premium additions for the Indian market. The India-spec Duster was revealed on the 26th of January, early four years after the previous version was discontinued.
The new Renault Duster comes with the option of two turbocharged petrol engines and a strong hybrid powerplant, though the electrified version of the SUV will only arrive by October. Expect prices for the Renault Duster to start around the ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella
Toyota will launch its first-ever electric SUV for the Indian market in the form of the Urban Cruiser Ebella. The Toyota Ebella is derived from the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara and, apart from a different-looking front end, shares its electrical gubbins and other bits with Maruti's eVitara as part of the current partnership between Suzuki and Toyota in India.
Like the eVitara, the Ebella will feature two battery packs - 49kWh and 61kWh. Both battery packs will be paired with a single electric motor driving the front wheels, with the larger battery pack offering a claimed range of up to 543km on a single charge. We expect the Ebella to command a premium of ₹50,000 to around ₹1 lakh (ex-showroom) over the e Vitara.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift
Skoda will introduce the facelifted Kushaq during the month. The update brings exterior styling changes and feature additions while retaining the existing engine lineup. The refreshed Kushaq features a brand new 8-speed automatic gearbox along with a revised design that includes a large illuminated front grille that seems to be a shrunken-down version of the one found on the flagship Kodiaq.
The Kushaq facelift also features updated exterior colourways, a sunroof, new upholstery on the inside and rear seats with a massaging function. The facelifted Skoda Kushaq will feature a slight hike over the pre-facelift model, with prices expected to start between ₹11 lakh to ₹19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mercedes-Benz V-Class Facelift
Mercedes-Benz will launch the updated V-Class luxury MPV on Monday, the 2nd of March. The facelifted V-Class will be the successor to Merc's luxury MPV that was discontinued in 2022.
The facelifted Mercedes V-Class receives revised styling and interior upgrades and could be offered in either six, seven or eight-seater options, depending on the variant, the German luxury marque decides to bring to India. The new V-Class will rival the likes of the Lexus LM, MG M9 and the Toyota Vellfire in India.

Nissan Tekton
Nissan will finally unveil its upcoming C-segment SUV, which will bear the Tekton nameplate next month. The new Nissan Tekton is based on the same platform as the new Renault Duster and is expected to share its mechanical bits with its alliance sibling, though the interior could be quite different as Nissan looks to force its way back into the hearts and minds of the Indian automotive buyer.
The event in March, though, will be a reveal, with the launch of the new Tekton set for the second half of the year. Nissan will also launch a seven-seater SUV derived from the Tekton sometime in early 2027.
