Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella Top-Spec E3 Variant Launched At ₹23.60 Lakh

Toyota has launched the top-spec E3 variant of the Urban Cruiser Ebella in India at ₹23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The Ebella - a rebadged Maruti Suzuki e Vitara - marks Toyota's first all-electric vehicle in the Indian market. Bookings have been open since January this year, when the SUV first debuted.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 - Powertrain and Range

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 uses a 61kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 171bhp and 193Nm of torque. Toyota claims a range of 543km on a single charge. Both AC and DC fast charging are supported.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella can be monitored remotely via Toyota's i-Connect connected car platform, which covers charging control, scheduling, and battery monitoring. An eight-year battery warranty comes as standard.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 - Features & Equipment

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3's interior carries ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour options, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a JBL premium audio system. The dashboard gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster alongside a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Safety kit on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 includes Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, and a 360-degree camera. The body structure uses high-tensile steel.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella follows Toyota's Urban Tech design language. Highlights include the hammerhead front fascia, LED lighting, aerodynamic roofline, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The Toyota Ebella available in five monotone and four dual-tone colour options.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella - Price & Variants

At ₹23.60 lakh, the Ebella E3 is priced ₹3.60 lakh above the equivalent Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, which starts at ₹20 lakh. Toyota is yet to announce prices for the E1 and E2 trims. Battery-as-a-Service is available, though detailed BaaS pricing has not been disclosed.
