Toyota Fortuner Prices Hiked By Up to ₹87,000: Now Starts at ₹34.76 Lakh

Japanese carmaker Toyota has revised prices on the entire Fortuner SUV lineup, the second hike this year after a round of increases in January. The revision spans every variant in the Toyota Fortuner range, from the entry-level 2.7-litre petrol 2WD AT to the range-topping GR-S 4x4 diesel automatic.

This latest round pushes the Fortuner's ex-showroom prices to between ₹34.76 lakh and ₹50.46 lakh for the standard lineup, while the Legender now commands up to ₹62.86 lakh at the top end.

Toyota Fortuner: Price Hike Details

The 2.7-litre petrol 2WD AT and 2.8-litre diesel 2WD MT variants of the Toyota Fortuner, along with their Platinum White Pearl editions, have each been hiked by ₹60,000. The 2.8-litre diesel 2WD AT Fortuner and its Platinum White Pearl derivative see a ₹65,000 increase in their ex-showroom prices.

The 4WD diesel MT Fortuner has seen its prices increase by ₹67,000, while mild-hybrid diesel 4WD variants go up by ₹75,000. The GR-S 4x4 AT absorbs the largest increase at ₹87,000, making it the costliest standard Fortuner variant at ₹50.46 lakh, ex-showroom.

Fortuner Legender: Up to ₹83,000 Costlier

The Toyota Fortuner Legender range sees hikes between ₹75,000 and ₹83,000. The 4x2 diesel AT is now priced at ₹42.92 lakh (up ₹75,000), while the 4x2 diesel MT climbs to ₹45.08 lakh - a ₹78,000 increase.

The flagship Legender 4x4 mild-hybrid diesel has been revised upward by ₹83,000, taking its price to ₹62.86 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Toyota Fortuner lineup is powered by either a 2.7-litre naturally aspirated petrol (166PS, 245Nm) or a 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel (204PS, 500Nm), the latter available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.
